Founded in 2005 by Joann Cartiglia, The Queen’s Treasures® humble beginnings started in her former home in Stroudsburg, PA with a few uniquely designed products sold by the company on eBay and Amazon. The Queen’s Treasures® quickly became known as a premier designer of high-quality, historically designed 18-inch doll products compatible for use with 18-inch American Girl® dolls and 15 inch Bitty Baby® dolls. The founding mission of the company was to provide quality toys that are moderately priced.
As our reputation for quality grew and customer base exploded, the company was approached by many large retailers to be able to offer these fine products on the retailers websites and store. This led the company to expand it's product offerings beyond doll furniture and into the production of 18-inch doll clothing, accessories, and eventually the creation of our very own unique dolls.
On our tenth anniversary, The Queen’s Treasures® became a licensed designer and creator of 18-inch doll furniture, clothing, and accessories for Little House on the Prairie®. This collaboration prompted us to create our very first doll inspired after the shows main character (and real-life author), Laura Ingalls, and just a year later her sister, Mary Ingalls. Since then, we have designed numerous toys and products inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved stories of her life.
The standards we have set for ourselves are always growing and we constantly ensure we are following our core requirement: our products must stimulate the kind of creative play which requires imagination - instead of batteries. This ideology has driven us to focus on the quality of our products to ensure that they bring joy to any home they enter for years to come. Therefore, all our items are hand made of premium quality (real) materials and must pass rigorous testing to meet or exceed safety standards in the USA, Canada, and Europe. We carefully select responsible factories to help produce our designs. To this end, the president of the company also proudly serves on the Toy Association's Legislative Committee, working to ensure toy safety in the U.S and abroad.
We have appeared in numerous tradeshows since the launch of our company, including the New York International Toy Fair, American Specialty Toy Association Show, and other educational fairs. In the spirit of giving back and gratitude for its success, the company has donated to charitable causes such as The Toy Foundation, Delivering Goods, The Dr. Jane Goodall Foundation, The Salvation Army, and AWSOM animal shelter, and most recently refugee children affected by the war in Ukraine, by donating a portion of sales or product.
We have now relocated our company to Historic Ticonderoga, NY. We sincerely thank you for shopping directly with us on our "home" site. You are welcome to shop for our products on the fine retailer websites listed below.
